Community ventures

We actively support local projects and initiatives, helping to make our community a healthier, happier and more supportive place in which to live and work. For instance:

Totally Locally Knighton
An initiative to help support local shops, entrepreneurs, artists and others by keeping money circulating within our community.

KINDA
Helping local individuals, venues and organisations become more supportive towards those in our community living with dementia, by raising awareness.

Knighton and District Tourism Group
We’re helping to promote this area as attractive to visitors and walkers.  After all, the Shropshire Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty doesn’t stop at the Welsh border even if the funding does!

Knighton Museum and Gallery Trust
Julia is a trustee and curator of Knighton’s new museum which is situated (conveniently) next door at No 1 Broad Street.

You can help us to keep the Tower House Gallery as a valuable community resource by supporting our various classes and meetings:

Hand-bell Ringers – Fridays 7.00pm to 9.00pm.

Tref-y-Clawdd WI – First Wednesday of month, 7.30pm to 9.00pm ‘ish.

Autism awareness and Makaton signing – Occassional courses – please contact us for details.
